Practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects.

It is important to use various resources to incorporate into your writing because it expands your knowledge on the subject matter. Not only that but you will get a diverse array of information as well as potentially expanding your thoughts about the subject in which you have never thought of before.
